Thought this shouldn't be mixed in the other swimming thread.

Looks like Triin has some stiff competition coming up. Should be some great racing in CS next spring.

Lara Jackson of Arizona swam a 21.37 50 free today. New NCAA and American record.

Jimmy Fiegen (Texas) swam a 19.48 50 free - seeded 2nd for finals tonight. He has been slowly creeping closer to 20 this fall and he crashed through it. Perhaps he had enough of Jonathan Jackson beating him all fall.

Jackson is the defending NCAA champ...no reason to think she's not the best until someone beats her...can Triin do it?...guess we'll have to wait and see...

Some of these fast times have to be at least partially due to the new suits.
