Recent A&M grad Martin Piller recently advanced to the final stage of q-school for the 09 season and is currently in 60th (-10), 4 shots out of earning his card, heading into the final round which tees off later this morning in La Quinta, California. He was one of only six players that advanced to the final stage this year by starting from the pre-qualification stage. He probably needs to finish -17 or so to lock up a card. Got the start he needed.

Finished at -14. No PGA card but he will get full status on the Nationwide.
