Fed is on a roll. Fed in four sounds about right.

Federer is one of my favorite athletes of all time. However, that being said, I really like Nadal so I don't hold anything against him during his streak the last year or two for whoopin up on fed.

Fed looks great though, after injuries hurt him a bit last year. I hope he gets to 15 slams this year, and if he were to somehow(although unbelievably unlikely) win just one French Open, I'd be ecstatic.

After Nadal's semifinal this tourney is his destiny.

Tennis is a winner either way. Both are great representatives of the sport.

Rafa is "inside" of Fed's head right now. I would like Rafa to win, but I think it's Fed's time to shine, he wins in 4. * if it goes 5, you have to think it's Rafa.

Not on this surface. Federer in 4.

Even though Nadal beat Federer on grass last year I think it was becuase he was not right all year and plus Federer may have been still smarting from the bet down he took a month prior at the French. This year is a different story. Federer wins 3 of the 4 majors, losing the French. He is not beating Nadal on a clay durface during a major unless Nadal is hurt.

fed completely choked away that 3rd set. He tightened up and missed multiple break chances.

call me crazy, but I say he overcomes the mental challenge and wins in 5.

I've taped my eyes open at this point I'm so frickin' tired. Still incredibly exciting though here in the 5th set.

Great, great match. Fed couldn't buy a first serve tonight but give Rafa credit - he's number 1 now. Rafa just seems tougher mentally and physically.

what a match. Amazing, but I didn't expect anything else from these 2.

Roger has to feel like he completely gave that match away. Not only did he just piss away the 5th set, he blew so many chances in the 3rd set to take a stranglehold on the match.

Nadal is his kryptonite. Hopefully we'll see Rog make this more of a rivalry and not a 1 sided ass kicking at Wimbledon because there is about a 1% chance he can beat Nadal on clay...if that.

Anyone else get the feeling Nadal took sets 2 and 4 off just to regain some energy? Those sets were so fast and Federer just dominated both of them.

I dont' know, I think he just lost. As crazy as this match was, Federer was in more control than people thing. He didn't have his serve, yet he still was the one who let more chances slip away than Rafa.

I think Cahill was right in that Rafa was physically battling, but Fed was having huge emotional swings throughout, and that dictated how the match went.

Regardless, good for Rafa but tough to watch for Fed. He was so shaken up after that.

rafa just has the mental edge.
