4-3 over number 7 Illinois. Great weekend for the men. Captured the doubles points in both matches. Pollock and K both had big wins. Beat Illinois without Spenser in the lineup. Hoover came up big against Illlinois. Lot's of positives to build on.

Unbelievable third set by Hoover. Down 5-1 and 40-0, and battles back to win six straigt games to clinch the match. High drama. Great win against a fine team, even more impressive with Wil out of the lineup. Colin was just spectacular down the stretch.

Big props to Colin for a huge win. Keep him in the lineup!

Wow, I didn't know he was down 5-1 40-0. That is amazing.

Colin's comeback was spectacular. What a fun comeback win and I loved the way the rest of the team kept him pumped up throughout the match and dumping the water on him afterward was priceless.

I'm officially a 2%er. I bailed on the match scoring updates on the internet when he was down 5-1 30-love. I'm going to go do my pushups...

Another big win. Didn't win the doubles point and Spencer is still out but somehow they found a way. These guys look like they have turned the corner.

Another great win. Very happy for Griggy to get a big win. He is so talented, yet I know its not the easiest thing in the world to hit the ground running on all cylinders when you get to school. Playing at three with Wil out just added pressure and he responded. He has really helped with doubles. What can you say about Conor, except he is the glue that holds this team together. Great senior captain. Oh, and Austin keeps rolling at the two line. When Wil gets back, I like our 1-4 as much as I have seen here in a long time.

Great win. Anybody know why USC #1 Farah did not play singles?

i've heard from two different people that he got into an argument with peter smith. that definitely evened up the match with us not having wil.

What Holden said is what they posted on aggieathletics. I don't want to say who it was, because I overheard it at the womens' match tonight, and I'm not sure if it's public yet. The funeral was yesterday, not sure if he'll be back for tomorrow.

Farah said himself during the singles that he had an injured back. If thats a cover then it would have to be a pretty big argument for a coach to take out his #1 when you are playing a top 15 team on the road.

I am not sure most people know the whole story. I am going to leave it at that. its not for me to tell. Definitely a rough situation for Wil, and we are all looking forward to having him back.
