Are we only counting this year in this discussion? Or how about the past 2 years?
The bears change the measure to fit their argument. Sure they won football this year but they were still 4-8 and haven't been to a bowl in a decade. Our overall record against them is similar to tu's against ours. Guess what baylor still stinks at football, and it is alot IFs and BUTs until Briles actually takes the program somewhere.
In baseball, we have done better them the last two years (and won the series this year).
In basketball we split with them but our overall performance this season was so much better this year it is not even close. If you stink, but you beat a better team, you do not automatically get to say you are a better team.
We beat tu 2 of the last 3 years in football. Are we a better program than tu? Not even close.
Also, one of the few B12 schools we have a winning record against in basketball is baylor, that should tell you something. We are a better program than baylor in basketball in the last five years certainly and historically.
Historically we have an edge over baylor in basketball, football, and baseball.
If you want to take recent history into account then baylor has an edge in one football season where they also stunk. But we have clearly been better than baylor every year up to this one for 20 some years. We have had the better basketball program for the last 5 years and baseball for the last two years.
In women's sports, they have basketball for sure and stuff like tennis. But when you have to go that far down the list you have lost your argument.
If you want a fairly objective comparison at the overall athletic programs please look at the director's cup standings. You will find that A&M has done better than baylor the last couple of years.
