That's the link to the news article on Ole Miss' 2nd round match against LSU. Sounds like they didn't exactly light the world on fire against a .500 LSU team. The 7th match could've gone either way. Could Ole Miss be vulnerable?

Connor ranked 17th, Berg ranked 16th. There's a chance for a win. Then at 2-3 lines it's #30 and #40 against #47 and #48. Austin sure has been playing good at the 2 line. I don't think it would be a stretch for him to upset at the 2 line.

Should be a dogfight at 1 doubles, (Berg and tenBerg ranked #1, but beaten 8-5 against #2 Venus and Skupski).

If we get 2 points out of the top 3 lines and doubles, I think we're not out of it.

Griggy looks like he's settling in at the 4 line, has been playing loose, and very well.

Then we just need an upset somewhere else. They've been flip flopping their lineups a bunch, so it's hard to measure guys up too far past the top 3.

Does anyone know enough about the Ole Miss players outside of what's on paper to know how our guys line up against them? Strengths, Weaknesses, etc?

I don't know anything about Mississippi, but as long as we're still playing, we've got a shot and that's all we can ask. We've got some decent momemtum right now, and that has gotta help.

I hope we get a bigger turnout then this past weekend. I know Friday night conflicted with the baseball game but I was surprised by how few people were there Saturday, especially since the first 100 students got in free so it's not like they can use the excuse "b/c we have to pay" as there were nowhere near 100 students. There also seemed to be less Old Ags then normal and I hope they will make it out for Thursday.

I think it will be a great match as Ole Miss is obviously a good team and we have proven that we are capable of competing with anybody and seem to be really determined to go as deep as we can get. Playing on our homecourt will hopefully give our guys some extra motivation and hopefully a good showing by the 12th Man will only increase our tenacity.

Not really sure whats going on with attendance, but it is obvious that student support is definitely down this year. We also seem to have lost some regulars from the stadium club. Not sure what stadium club sales were for the year, but attendance is an issue we need to address for next year.

I agree about the student support, and it's not just in tennis. It seems like in all sports (even the big 3) students have not been attending as much as last year and even many of the ones who do don't seem as into it as the majority of the students who attended last year were. While we still seem to have better student attendance among the less common sports than most other schools, it definitely doesn't match last year. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue.

Yeah H, right now the 4 line is huge if everything else shakes out like it looks.up 5-3 and lose 4 pts in a row, Hopefully he can suck it up and someone else step up. Good job Connor.

Dropping the doubles w/ our lack of talent at 5 and 6 makes life really tough. It would have been nice to have Klegou this year but I'll look forward to his arrival next year.
