I'm driving up from San Antonio tomorrow just to congratulate these student-athletes for a job well done. "The Shot on the 18th" is my new number one Aggie athletic moment replacing Acie's "The Shot". I rushed the court after Acie's but Bronson's shot was nothing short of a miracle.

Wow, that's dedication.
I'm in SA and not even a party like that will get me to drive 6 hours in a day!

It should be noted that that is the Peach CREEK exit unless something has changed very recently.

Anyone that went give us an update...

Awesome reception. I would guess 200 to 300 at Coach JT's Home. They flew into Houston I understand and someone arranged a stretch Limo to bring them home. Much excitement in the air and Coach introduced the team,including the team players that did not make the trip. Goog was also there and recognized for being very helpful in the recruitment of the players tho he is no longer at A&M. People that were there included Lady Ag golf coach and some of her players, Coach Turge and many of the basketball players, Red Cashion, Tim Cassidy, former coach Thornton, Fun to see a "National Championship" trophy. Wife suggested to Coach Turge that we will be looking for one of these receptions for him--he said we would have it at Kyle Field--just give him a little time. I like this guy.

I was there with a group of students from my church. I didn't have a camera with me. The description above pretty much sums it up. There may have been close to 200 people there, but I don't think it was 300. We sang the war hymn (I'm not sure who started it), lots of photos, coach Higgins spoke and introduced everyone. There were several video cameras there. KBTX should have some clips tonight at 10 if you are in BCS.
