Why is Nike our sponsor for track and field instead of adidas? Is it an ncaa thing or do we have a different contract for some sports?

Pat Henry has a contract with Nike. I think everyone else being with adidas, and his pull with Nike, has slowly gotten them to improve the quality of maroon.
