Aside from the obvious of course.

I am wondering b/c I don’t know how related the Indoor and outdoor track are graded (ie. the point system). I would think that because we won the Men and Woman’s Outdoor titles; then we should have a good chance to win the Indoor titles as well. How closely are they related and do you think we would have a good chance to win all 4 at some point?

Considering that the same school has only won the men's and women's outdoor track in the same year 3 times, I would say the likelihood of winning all four is not very good.

Even if we were the favorite to win all 4, it would still be pretty unlikely for us to do so.

Oh I agree with that. I am mainly curious how the two relate together. Are we better equipped for outdoor vs. indoor? why or why not.

With our new indoor complex I would assume we would have won there before the outdoor championships. I am just not up to date with track and field too much.

In theory we should be better equipped for the indoor track with our strength in the sprints and sprint relays, and that the long track outdoors would favor teams like Oregon. Obviously just the opposite occurred, so throw theory out the window.

I think we are better equipped for outdoor than indoor. I would say indoor has a bit more focus on the distance aspect while outdoor has a bit more focus on the sprints; mainly because there is no 4X100 in Indoor but there is a Distance Medley. Obviously we are very strong in the 4X100 with both men and women but don't have a good distance medley for either.

Also, our sprinters seem to be better at the 100 and 110 hurdles than they do at the 60 and 60 hurdles, I feel like that extra 40 meters helps us run a few people down so I guess our sprinters are a bit faster then they are quick.

Indoor tracks are much smaller than outdoor tracks, running a 200 on an indoor track is really weird compared to a typical outdoor 200, IMHO.
