Soccer is on a roll!
The team is 7-3 after starting at 2-3, that's 5 straight W's by my math, with the latest being against a good Washington team that tied tu on Friday in Austin.
The Ags are 1-0 in conference and will go on the road next weekend to CU and Nebraska. They didn't beat either of them in the 2001 regular season (tied Colorado 2-2 and lost to Nebraska 2-4), but then they rallied to beat the Huskers in the Big 12 Tournament semifinals.
That should be a very interesting road trip.
I looked up the results of the conference teams, here they are:
Team / Conf / Overall
1. OK State 2-0-0, 10-0-0
1. Oklahoma 2-0-0, 8-2-0
3. Kansas 1-1-0, 7-1-2
3. Nebraska 1-1-0, 5-2-3
5. Texas 1-0-0, 6-2-1
5. TEXAS A&M 1-0-0, 7-3-0
7. Colorado 0-0-1
7. Missouri 0-0-1
9. Baylor 0-2-0, 6-4-0
9. Iowa State 0-2-0, 3-5-1
9. Texas Tech 0-2-0, 2-8-0
Texas was ranked #4, A&M #7, and Nebraska #16 nationally last week. I guess OSU and OU haven't played as strong an out of conference schedule as the "big 3" soccer teams.
