Just saw the rankings for Men's and Womens swimming. The men seem extremely low for how they did last year and how they are doing this year but oh well. The women are making it look like that meet against #7 Auburn will be a great one!

eh. that's a swimming poll. I would say it's about right considering the male divers are easily a top 5 squad. always skews it away from the aggies' strength.

girls are about right based on the data we have. we'll know more after the invite assuming the girls are doing the normal midseason shave.

If there's going to be men's teams there, it begs the question why our men decided not to go. Those would be pretty good competition for them, and it wouldn't be too expensive coming to Houston.

I guess they didn't want the interruption in training, with one already coming next week for Thanksgiving.

So, if some of the swimmers go home for Thanksgiving anyways, which undoubtedly will interrupt training despite their best intentions, it seems like the ideal time for the girls to go to an invite would be the weekend AFTER thanksgiving. That way, they could take advantage of the mini-taper that comes from thanksgiving without having to go out of their way.

SMU has some pretty darn good girls too...They lost two studs in Klosova and Candace Blackman but they're still awful good. I'd expect a pretty good battle for second.

I'm pretty sure that you're just favre, trying to bait us into saying something really bad, to make some point, and then you can log back into your other account, and accuse us all of rooting for the downfall of the program.

But seriously, if you're being serious, invest in an iron chastity belt. Because they're coming for it. If you even ask a question about why they train the way they do, you pretty much are asked to hand over your aggie ring. What you said will result in certain death for your genitalia.

People actually do that? I mean thanks blu for thinking I have some master plan to accuse you and spice of rooting against the downfall of the men's swimming program by making a new name. But I don't think anyone actually thinks that someone writing on this wall would actually hope a team from Texas A&M would ever do bad, especially people like us that follow the non-profit sports too. All I said was when a team does good you should say they did good as well as talk about how to improve them when they do bad. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. So Red Fury I don't think anyone is going to try to find out who you are and castrate you, sorry for the dissapointment

I think that means I am NOT in favor of a downfall. I think this is in fact my position. I am a fan of the team and I want A&M's swim team(s) to improve.
