Which class do you think was the best class for Men's or Women's swimming?

Men's I would go with the 2007 class of Loncaric, Lavery, Makany, Ried, Van Dam, Snowden. The team has boomed since they joined

Women's I would have to go with the class that had Marshall, Heiss and Wilkinson, Hansen, Jasek and Ranzau

Or for both team's are the one's coming in next year the best?

I can't imagine a class ever having been better than that HS C/O 2005 class. Wouldn't Triin have been in there too? That class has just done such amazing things, both on the NCAA and international levels, that it would be hard to beat. This year's class will definitely be great though. It's hard to project the greatness of Bultman's teams, since he does such a great job of development, until they've been here at least a few years. They have a chance, but man, was that a stud class.

The guys' isn't as clear cut. That class is definitely very good, certainly the best of the 4 that are currently here. Troskot has a chance to carry next year's class on his shoulders to claim that title. Dunno who was in what class, but back in the days of Riley James and David Kappler, there were some pretty good teams. I imagine a few of those classes would have to be in the conversation too. In 98-99 they broke like 7 school records.

Lavery was actually in the class before the one you mentioned with Bergstrom, Clarke, Duckworth, Duran, Strange, and Widmer. However, Denisyako is also in the class you mentioned earlier, which definitely adds to its strength.

That 2005 class of girls is one of the best ever for ANY school. The girls in that one class alone easily makes you a top 10 program.

I had just pulled up an old article that had Lavery in that class, but still with Nikita instead of Nathan that is still a great class. Left out Triin, that class is absolutely incredible!

Agreed Playstation. The girls were one athlete away from an NCAA runner-up finish in 2008. To think how far they came from not scoring a point at NCAA's in 2003 to that is simply incredible. Bultman and his staff have done a phenomenal job.
