scy is a different beast. plus he didn't have that AR any more. probably the first bearded 3:38 ever. i can't remember if that would be the non-shiny suit record...
It was just short of his meet record there in 07. That Japanese guy gave him a nice run though. His underwaters were incredible.
Phelps swam 4:18 in the 500 a day earlier. Incredible time for an event almost never races and in the middle of the season.
Ohhh I get it. Never swim the 400IM again. I thought you meant he said he would never swim the SC GP again.
Right. I guess he meant the 400 IM Long Course.
