Americans took 2nd and 3rd in the 1500m short track. Ohno is now tied in 1st for most medals is US mens winter Olympic history and 19 yr old JR Celski(sp?) who nearly bled-out on the ice nearly 6 months ago took third after the Koreans blew their chance to sweep the medals.

Great start!

Short track is an awesome sport. Amazing how that race changed in a split second.

It was interesting, because prior to the race they were talking about team skating and how it's against the rules.

The Koreans didn't skate as a team and it cost them.

The Koreans did skate as a team when it was to their individual advantage, didn't you see the triple team they put on JR and Ohno?

It was only after they had killed the Americans chances that they went for the individual stuff and wiped each other out. If one of them hadn't fallen how loud do you think the team skating talk would be?

Short track is barely started. Only one medal awarded so far (1500M mens).

In my opinion, Ohno is the #1 USA bad ass in the Winter Olympics. Brilliant, oh so cool, and a nice guy too.

Man, someone needs to take these Koreans down... Especially given their country's b|t ch tastic commentary about Apolo.

i'm developing a huge crush on ohno.

and yeah...i kept hoping the koreans would get disqualified for something. especially the one that said ohno didn't deserve to be on the podium and he had a hard time keeping his composure. wrecks are a part of the race, and apolo capitalized on their mistake in that race. just like they just capitalized on his mistake in the 1000m when he slipped. but you didn't hear apolo saying they didn't deserve to be on the podium.

I had a huge crush on Apolo when I was in HS during the SLC games... especially after that crazy race where everyone wiped out and that Australian dude won because he was the only one who didn't fall over. After Apolo crawled to a silver he was so happy and excited! Not only is he hot, but he is a great competitor and truly loves his sport. Love him.

What I really want? The US to win the gold in the relay event later in the week, and for the Koreans to come in dead freakin' last.
