Men's- start tomorrow at 2:00 in the afternoon. Think the game is televised, but not sure what channel. Probably USA. I've been looking over the roster, and wow are they young this time around. Talented, but young. We have a chance for a medal, but I think bronze is the best bet. I think Canada is going to be unbeatable, but stranger things have happened.

Womens-opened by beating China 12-1. Looked very strong, but canada beak Slovakia 18-0. Canada is going to be very tough. Next game is tomorrow at 430 against Russia!

I'll be working but I have the DVR set up already!

The US made a concerted effort to be young this year. They were tired of the old men who were hanging on for too long keeping younger players from joining the program and developing.

At the very least, it bodes well for the future of the program.

women's hockey

I don't know...womens hockey is about the only womens sport that keeps me entertained.

I like what they did, they might not be that good this year, but this is a team that will be good in the next olympics. I'm glad they finally got some size on their defenders. Canada has such big forwards, they would just roll over the defensemen. We got some size this year.

Team USA looked really good for the first half of the game. Don't know if they are quite on the same level as the canadians, but we'll see this weekend I guess. I will say this, this team is fast, talented and physical. I enjoyed watching them a lot.
