The Aggies take on the Cowboys today at 1:00 at the Mitchell Tennis Center. The Aggies have been playing pretty well of late, but OSU is always a tough out. They have one of the top players in the country at the top of their lineup and the number one line should be a war. Austin won earlier this year, but I expect another epic match. The Big 12 is very balanced on the mens side this year, so every match will be hotly contested. Hopefully we will have a good crowd, as their is a lot of activity on campus this afternoon. If you are in the area, stop by and support the men.

The Aggies swept the Cowboys 7-0 this afternoon. If you only see the box score, you might think this was easy, but it was anything but. We had to come back from the dead on line three to win the doubles. Jeff on line two and Alberto on line five won in straight sets to make it 3-0. Gribby was finally able to put his match away in a second set tie-breaker. Austin, Klegue, and John Lewis all went to third set tiebrakers and were able to win them all. Shutting out OSU is hard to do, and I hope this gives us some momentum going to Nebraska. Before that we have two matches on WSednesday afternoon....come if you can.

it was great to see austin get a second win over nedovyesov. a shame that they couldn't have played out the full third, but i think the match tiebreak favored austin anyway. jeff and alberto were impressive, klegou and griggy finished strong despite not playing their best tennis, and john lewis got his first taste of big 12 pressure.

rice could be a potential trap match on wednesday night, so hopefully the guys can keep the momentum going and head into lincoln with the win streak intact.

Xlaggie. The OSU coach is James Wadley. He is an Oklahoma native and has been the head coach at OSU for over 30 years. They are a little down this year, but their number one is a stud. They always have a strong foreign component on their team, and he seems to do a good job with his kids. Many years they have been a thorn in our side. They still could cause somebody some trouble in the conference, although they have already played Texas. Maybe they can upset Baylor or Tech. They get both of those schools in Stillwater.
