Raven, you may know this...I havent been to a lot of matches this year, but I noticed a few times that maybe Marcus or another player are out coaching on the court. Whats the deal with that? I didnt know that was legal per ncaa rules, first of all, and it just seemed a little odd to me.

Bigfoot: I can only assume it is legal. Marcus has been staying with Grigs when he is not in the singles lineup. He seems to have a positive impact on Griggy, and Griggy has been playing very well this season. I think it is because he is older and a senior that the coaches feel confident in having him on the court in a "coaching" role.

Great pics! And I'll be up in Lubbock next weekend on Sunday afternoon to watch our guys, so I'll be sure to try and take some pictures to post here. They won't be as good as RandomAg's, but I'll do my best.

I agree. Have not seen that either, but it has been happening at least the last several matches. Whatever work for Griggy I am for. He is really playing well right now, and is incredibly talented when he is on his game. As he asked me the other day: "when was the last time you saw me play bad?" I had to respond that I guess it was last year some time, so that is a good thing.

the men used to be only allowed to have 2 coaches on the court during matches, while the women were allowed 3. now the men are allowed 3 as well, although there can still only be 2 paid coaches (most teams, men and women, will have an "official" volunteer coach, as the Aggie men and women do). marcus appears to be griggy's new de facto singles coach, which is fine with me, as it seems to be working well.
