I'm sure a lot of you have seen this, but after the winter season, Ags sit 10th in the director's cup. We scored the third most points in the winter season behind Ohio State and Stanford. Having the women's bball team not get upset in the second round would've gone a long way towards pushing that number higher, but still an impressive performance.

Also, Byrne mentioned swimming when interviewed about it.

Strangely he mentions the men, but not the women? t.u. is in 16th, Nebraska is 22nd. We're looking pretty good to finish ahead of t.u, especially with our 3 defending national championships still left to compete.

It is very cool in any case. Just imagine if our football team was contributing like they should.

Fortunately, Title IX doesn't control the director's cup, and football isn't worth more points than any other sport. We still get 25 points from them for losing their bowl game, out of a maximum of 100, so it could be worse. Same number of points for, say, a first round basketball or soccer loss.

The deep volleyball run was an unexpected surprise that helped a lot.

Wow, we definitely have a great shot to finish in the top 10. With the way our Baseball and Softball teams are playing they should most likely make the tourney and the track teams will definitely deliver. Good news, thanks!
