COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M volleyball team concludes its spring exhibition season with a match against the National Champion Texas A&M Men's Club Team on Monday at the volleyball practice gym in Reed Arena.
First serve is slated for 6 p.m.
Aggie women's head coach Laurie Corbelli welcomes back six letterwinners -- including two starters -- from last year's team that went 20-11, led the nation in both kills and assists per game and was No. 21 in the final AVCA poll after advancing to the NCAA regional semifinals.
Jennifer Banse and Jola Kelner, both seniors on that 2009 team, now serve as the coaches for the men's club team and directed the Aggie men to the 2010 AE NCCS National Volleyball Championship title earlier this month.
Admission is free. Parking also will be free in Lot 100g. Spectator entrance will be at the Reed Arena employee entrance on the east side of the building.
Chairs will be set up around the court, although seating will be limited. Fans are welcome to bring their own folding chairs.
Last weekend, the Aggie women won four of five sets against Sam Houston State, defeating the Bearkats 25-21, 25-17, 25-13, 23-25, 25-19, at the practice gym at Reed Arena.
