Winner of us/Baylor plays the winner of Tennessee (28-1) and Louisville (24-5). Tennessee is the favorite. Both teams are beatable, but Tennessee is clearly one of, if not the, best team in the nation. Tennessee has the no. 3 seed in the singles (John-Patrick Smith) and no. 2 Doubles (Smith and Davey Sandgren). Louisville's only individual qualifiers are their no.1 Doubles team, which isn't seeded but was the Big East Champ. Tennessee has 2 other single's players, and another doubles pair in the individual draw.

To knock them off (assuming we get past Baylor) the bottom 3 are going to have to play very well.

Ok ok, real prediction: Baylor wins 4-3. I like our team and out depth, but the chances of beating the same team 3 times in 1 season are low. I hope we come out on fire and prove me wrong.

I think we get through 4-2. It will be tough b/c Baylor has been playing better of late.

The great thing about this year is we can win at any line. 5/6 have really stepped up. Like Lunt much better at 6 than whoever we have tried throughout the season.

Well, is picking a score really relevant in the NCAA tournament? The winning score is always 4, and it has as much to do with the speed of play of the players as anything.

Anyways, I've got the Ags 4-2.

the changes to their tournament lineup favor us, imo. i think we get one from either austin or jeff. griggy beats bucko. klegou is a toss-up against mueller. berto is a 60/40 favorite over maytin. lunt can beat bley easy if he wins the first set and then gets an early break in the second, if not it will be a dogfight.

if we win the doubles point, we win the match. we just have more doubles talent at line 1, so if the boys play solid we win that one. 2 and 3 are more even, but i think we will pull one of those out to get the point.

knoll will try pull out all the stops to win this one, but i've got confidence that our guys (coaches and players) will be ready to get the elusive third win in a row.

I am going 4-3 Ags. It comes down to last on the court in either line 5 or 6. And if it is one of those guys I give the edge to Ags on determination. I would like to see an Ags laugher at 4-0, but wouldn't every Aggie fan!

So, back to the tournament...and more mature topics. I am done arguing with you, its not worth my time and effort.

I really think we own Gaylor this year. I think the guys are ready to go, and this could be our year to put a good run together. We have the talent this year with Austin and Jeff at the top 2, and Griggy is playing the best tennis of his life. The bottom 3 are very very solid, with Bautista capable of beating anyone right now. I think if we win the doubles point, we roll in singles. Seems like the Ags are peaking after a great showing in a tough loss against Texas in the Big 12 finals, and a fairly decent win against a tough Ole Miss team. Lets hope this year is the year!
