Neanderthal57 made several good comments in his remarks. I have tried to add to his.
Florida MEN:
Will enter 11 positions and 2 relays. They are extremely strong. They have the potential to win or place second in 7 events - both relays, long & triple jump (Christian Taylor), 400m (Calvin Smith), 100m (Jeff Demps), and shot put (Kemal Mesic). Other possible points may come from Omar Craddock (triple), Gray Horn (decathlon), Terrell Wilks (100m), and Tony McQuay (400m). They did not lose any potential point makers at Regionals. T&F News project them to earn 69 points at nationals. Unless they falter somewhere, they should definitely earn over 60 points.
Oregon MEN: Expected to fight with A&M for second place. They are sending a strong crew to nationals and will enter 16 positions. They only loss one potential point maker at Regionals - freshman Mac Fleet might have earn a point in the 1500. They will be strong in the distances (800m - 5K). They could earn three top spots in the 1500 and the top spot in the 800m. They could earn a point or two in the 5K. Ashton Eaton will easily win the decathlon for the Ducks and may finish high in the long jump. Cyrus Hostetler will be expected to win the javelin with Alex Wolff earning a point or two. They could earn at least 50 points.
A&M MEN: We will also have a strong contingent at nationals. We lost no one at Regionals - all of our top 12 regional participants advanced to Oregon. We looked very strong in the sprints and relays. We will enter 14 positions and 2 relays. We should earn points in the 100m & 200m (Curtis Mitchell & Gerald Phiri), 400m (Demetrius Pinder, Tabarie Henry, & Bryan Miller), long jump (Melvin Echard & Julian Reid), and triple jump (Zuheir Sharif, Tyron Stewart, & Melvin Echard). We should finish in the top two in both relays and the javelin (Sam Humphreys). Add in a point or two from Trinity Otto in the decathlon and we could mount a strong challenge for the title if we get some corporation from Florida and Oregon, especially Florida. The 4x100 and 4x400 races between Florida and the Ags could be the highlight races of the meet.

Oregon WOMEN: Lost Amber Purvis at Regionals. She was expected to earn 4 to 6 points in the 200m at nationals. However, they are strong and should be the favorite to win. They scored 215 points in the PAC-10 conference meet so they have plenty of individuals who can earn points. They will enter 15 positions and 2 relays. They should win the heptathlon (Brianne Theisen). They should earn 5-10 points in the 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, 1500m (Zoe Buckman & Jordan Hasay), 5K (Alex Kosinski & Nicole Blood), 10K (Nicole Blood & Mattie Bridgmon), 400m (Keshia Baker), 800m (Anne Kesselring), and pole vault (Melissa Gergel). The Ducks should get 6-10 more points from Jamesha Youngblood in the jumps. They will be hard to beat, especially on their home turf.
A&M WOMEN: We lost only one of our top 12 regional individuals. Natasha Ruddock twisted her knee and could not run at Regionals. She was expected to earn 5 to 8 points at nationals. We will enter 19 positions and 2 relays at nationals. We could earn around 15 points in each of the 100m (Gabby Mayo, Jeneba Tarmoh, Porscha Lucas, & Dominique Duncan) and 200m races (Jeneba Tarmoh, Porscha Lucas, & Dominique Duncan). The results of both relays may give us another 15 points. We could pick up 6 to 8 points in the 400m (Jessica Beard), 5 to 8 points in the 100m hurdles (Gabby Mayo and Vashti Thomas), and maybe a few more points in the remaining events -- heptathlon (Daphne Fitzpatrick), javelin (Emalie Humphreys & Hillary Pustka), long jump (Vashti Thomas & Ashika Charan), and triple jump (Tiffany Peters & Ashika Charan).
