Thanks for update. So, if looking at that A & M has 13 athletes. Men - Mitchell, Howell, Miller Echard, Stewart, and Otto. women - Mayo, Jarmoch, Lucas, Beard, Thomas, Charan. Congratulations to all those who make us proud to be an AGGIE!! WHOOP!!

Remember though that Gabby Mayo has been hurt - she missed the bulk of the Big 12 meet and the NCAA meet. I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't compete this time.

Is Natasha able to compete yet?

I don't know about her injury status, but is Natasha an American citizen? She is from Jamaica and I remember it being a big deal at the Penn Relays this year because Usain Bolt was also there.

This from USATF on entry eligibility:

quote:
Only citizens of the United States who are eligible to represent the United States in all levels of international competition and who have met the published entry standards as stated elsewhere in this document are eligible to compete in these Championships.

We love her anyway 'cause she's an Aggie!

As of last night, I found Porscha Lucas confirmed in the 200m, Jeneba Tarmoh confirmed in the 100m and scratched from the 200m, Curtis Mitchell confirmed in the 200m and scratched from the 100m, and Ashika Charan pending in the TJ. Also Donique Flemings confirmed in the Junior 100mH and 400mH.

All representing Texas A&M except Porscha, who of course has used up her NCAA eligibility and is representing Saucony.

Donique' Flemings won the Jr Women's 100m hurdles today in a time of 13.33. Sounds to me like she should have been in there with Mayo, Ruddock, and Thomas all season.

You'll note the announcer is a total doofus.

Jeneba Tarmoh made it through the first round of the Women's 100m with a time of 11.37 - 6th fastest time. 11.26 was the fastest time.
