sort of... All travel, etc. is covered (considered a TDY) plus gas...

That's plenty for me. I need the coaching experience for paid gigs down the road. I promised myself that I would sit in a cubical farm ever again, and the wife makes enough money so I don't have to.

Congratulations on the position. If you still check on the TAMU team, I think the college levels have changed and they play in the top division. Longer trips to away matches and stiffer competition. They were fun to watch last season.

By "keep up with" I mean I still follow the team's progress. I haven't played on the polo fields since 1990 or so.
