"Yeah, I was over at the Dixie Chicken soaking up some campusology when some fish Jones whipped out, dropped handle and gave me the CQ to bust butt to the midnight yell session. I thought it was bad bull but the next thing you know I'm doing the Elephant Walk marching into a stadium full of Aggies. It was quadding, everybody was Whooping, I was wild-catting, and Erin was humpin' it. That's the best way I can describe the spirit and comraderie, the life at Texas A&M. Ron and Charles, if you weren't there you're just a bunch of 2%er's."

SMU defeated tu tonight at the Aggie soccer complex 2-1. tu has the National Championship Final 4 at their place this year....They have been aiming all year to not only host...but be one of the final 4. They were #3 and looked as if it would happen until they came here and lost the Big XII Championship to the Ags and now tonight ends the dream. Guess they will have nightmares of their two trips to College Station in '02.

WOW! I didn't think that was gonna happen (that tu would get knocked off so early).
We should cruise right on through the bracket, meeting UCLA in the semi-finals. Assuming we get through THAT matchup, the party very likely ends with North Carolina, I'm afraid

SMU will be very tough. They've been a thorn in our side.

SMU is tough.

When we beat them early in the season they didn't have their goalkeeper, and she was great tonight against the sips.

I heard that we haven't lost to SMU since they upset us in the '97 NCAA Tournament. I've seen a bunch of Aggie-Mustang soccer games and they're always close. Hope the 12th man is out at the soccer cmplex to make sure it goes A&M's way!

Tonight's crowd was pretty big, but after going up 8-0 at the half, a bunch of folks left. I'm looking forward to being out there on Sunday. It might be our last chance to see them at home this year.

Last years SMU game was awsome! Wish I'd have made the trip to CS this weekend to watch some football and take in a few soccer games.

Sweet 16 is right in our grasps again this year!
