Brett Joelson...anyone know when he's coming in...spring or next fall? I read the article and it didn't say. He could sure help this year, but I have a feeling he might not be in until next fall.

Brett Joelson will join the team in the fall of 2003, he is currently a high school senior. He is a long time friend of John Nallon, who was instrumental in recruiting Brett this fall. John and Brett are long time buddies. They played together on the 2001 Texas Davis Cup Team that won the national championship for Texas for the first time in 15 years. It was at that tournament coach Cass saw them in action and began his recruiting campaign.

Actually, the information is appreciated on both John and Brett. With outstanding players like these guys, the tennis team should be in great shape for the next several years.

Are you John's dad? Kinda figuring so given the screenname. If you are, just wondering if you know/heard anything about Cameron Fenner that's coming in from Australia.

Yes, guilty as charged, I am John's dad and very proud of it as you can tell!!! I promise to keep the bragging down from now on.

No, I have not heard much about Mr. Fenner yet,
other than he arrived during the holidays, he is over his jet lag, and he does have a funny accent. I am sure he likes his shrimp from the barbie as well.

This team is chomping at the bit for the season to start. I hope y'all are going to catch some, if not all of, the action at the Station, or wherever they are playing at a court near you.

I can't wait for the season to start. I've been to most of the home matches the past 2 years and have made a few of the away matches too. I watched every day of the NCAA's last year and can't wait for the excitement to begin again this year. Here's to beating the hell outta t.u. this year at home.

The Ags should have an excellent season. There is a lot of talent on the team. Wish they played a match at Vanderbilt.
