really enjoyed watching in on ESPNU last night...ladies looked very impressive...especially miss black, what a hottie...

she might "kill" someone if it him them in the head on one of those spikes...it was awesome to see the other girls feed off of her and how they came up with some big plays when blowu was watching for kelsey...

i really hope they can win the next 4 and then steal one versus iowa st or tu...if they keep their head they can beat anyone...they can comeback versus anyone so if they are ever down hopefully they dont give up...even on the road...this will be the sign to whether they will make the tourney


also big gig'em to the 12th man...loved it when they yelled at the one ou chick when she was serving and served it way out of bounds!

I've gotta say I really enjoyed watching the team last night. Kelsey did what she has been doing all season and really put the team on her back in critical moments. Lindsey Miller was her usual stud self, but I was most impressed with Stephanie Minnerly and Elise Hendrickson. Minnerly came up with some big time kills in pressure situations, where in the past she has gotten really nervous at times and become too passive. Hendrickson helped the ball control and played well on offense and defense. It was really nice to see her get a couple of kills out of the back row. I'm glad that she has solidified her spot in the starting lineup.

They certainly have improved quite a bit since the beginning of the season, as you would expect with a young team. I think we are still one good pin hitter away from being able to compete with the top teams in the Big 12, but this is a down year in the conference so I'd like to think they can still make one more big push here at the end of the season and have a shot at the playoffs. The wins over Texas and OU will certainly help them in that cause, but they have to boost their overall wins and losses record if they want any shot at getting in!

Wow, 3-match win streak to pull to 6-7. I'm not going to lie, I kind of gave up hope after a few ugly losses when we were 3-7, but we're right back in this thing now.

Also no surprise on the young team-better record home than away. Three home matches left (including Iowa State and Nebraska) make the next 4 (Waco, Kansas at home, Columbia, Manhattan) hugely crucial. Each one is probably a must-win if we want a shot at the tourny.

They can do it! They are great when they are able to pass and the mids can take pressure off of our pin hitters. Great showing against a pretty solid OU team - Tori was playing out of her mind as well. Just a fantasy showing

Hate to say it, but that might have sunk tourny hopes, barring something spectacular in those last few games (like wins over Nebraska and Iowa State). Hopefully they'll play out the season well as a springboard into next year!
