Just talked to a girl on the team and she said there were more Aggies than Bruins at UCLA game and said how thrilled the girls were about the support. Let's try to do that again in Chapel Hill! And it would be better for you than another plate of left-overs! Gig'em!

I wouldn't say there were more Aggies than Bruins, but there were quite a few Ag fans at UCLA Saturday night. I met a few of the players' families. They all seemed to be fantastic people.

There was also a large group of what appeared to be Aggie students sitting in the bottom rows with Aggie soccer garb on. They did a good job of doing yells and such (despite the typical lame taunts from UCLA students), but were really unfriendly to those of us outside their group. Anybody know who they were?

the students at the game were the texas a&m men's and women's club soccer teams who also happened to be in los angeles competing in a tournament. there were also a few close friends and of course parents that flew out to watch. it was very lucky that they were all in attendence and they sure made it feel like aggieland had come to cali. i'm sure that they did not mean to be "unfriendly" to anyone else. they are great people and made the win at ucla so much more fun. they all have been so supportive of the team this season....as has everyone else!

I will be leaving my office a 12:00 pick up my daughter (who will be wearing unc crap) and heading to the game ( I will be in my A&M Best).
I will carry my Aggie Flag. I'm excited!

Why are we playing the 2nd highest ranking team still left in the playoffs, while we're now the third? The way I figure, it should have been Stanford (1) vs. Michigan, NC (2) vs. Penn State (12), TAMU (4) vs. Portland (9), and Santa Clara (6) vs. UConn (7).
The playoff schedule has no logic except to favor Stanford and NC.

IMHO

One Southwest Conference band director of the (Adams) era reportedly said "I dread going against the Aggie Band...It takes two weeks to recover from the trauma."

I love our soccer program. It makes me so proud to see the players and coaches give 110% every game. They are the Fightin' Texas Aggies!
