Indoor track gets underway in less than three weeks with the Reveille Invitational on December 11. While a very low key meet, it's always fun to see who shows up and how training is coming along. The men's team will definately be in the hunt to contend for a third consecutive national outdoor title. Lots of potential big point scorers return for their senior year. They'll be led by sprinters Tabarie Henry, Bryan Miller, Curtis Mitchell, Gerald Phiri and Demetrius Pinder. These guys could grab both relay tiles as well. The jumps will be covered by seniors Tyron Stewart Julien Reid and junior Melvin Echard. Soph Sam Humphreys has the javelin covered and hopefully redshirt frosh hurdler Wayne Davis steps up in the high hurdles. With the addition of some very good sprint talent like Prezel Hardy (hopefully his injuries are behind him), Shaun Powell, Michael Bryan, Jermaine Davis, Carlyle Roudette and Terence Smith, Aggie sprint dominance should continue. These guys are good, but will need to get better to have a national impact. I am sure that coach Henry and Coach anderson are up to the task. All in all it looks like another great year for the men. One last note, keep an eye on frosh William Markert. The Yoakum native could be another Trinity Otto and eventually pick up big points in the multi's.
