Hoover got screwed by the chair ump a few times, should have gotten the W. Wasn't impressed with Ore in doubles, and wanted to see him in singles.

Overall, team looks pretty solid. Should be a fun year!

Excellent thumping by the men, and exactly what we'd expect from them with the high hopes for that team this year.

Can't overlook the 5-2 win by the women, either. Tulsa is No. 32, which shows that we're probably better than our result against Arkansas showed. The Default by the Tulsa girl on the 1 line was pretty funny...was a pretty tough match, and the girls really seemed to gel. Hopefully they carry the momentum and at least pull out a few matches against Duke.

What did the chair umpire do in Hoover's match?

the chair basically never made a call in hoovers favor, but when it was a big point (9-9 in the super breaker), he overruled a ball on hoovers baseline. Just something you dont do at that point in the match.

Gou is having some issues with ncaa right now because of a class he took that they are saying doesn't count towards his major after he was advised it would count.

I think this lineup is pretty set on the 1-3 lines, 4-6 could always change. You have Hoover, Klegou, Bautista, Ore, Angus, and the other two freshmen that can all play those spots.

Agree with bigfoot on all counts...hopefully we can get Klegu straightened out in time for Friday's match with Texas...with the NCAA you never know for sure....have no explanation for how the official missed the call on Hoover...checked him out and he is an experienced guy from Waco who has done lots of our matches in the past...guess I just did not remember him....will rememeber him from now on, however....ruined a really good match....
