Texas A&M Women
The Aggies seek their fifth consecutive indoor title. Gabby Mayo, the top conference scorer the past two years, defends dual titles in the 60 meters and 60 hurdles. Mayo leads the Big 12 with an 8.15 in the hurdles. Jessica Beard, current collegiate leader in 200 (22.95) and 400 meters (52.25), is a three-time champion in the 400 and could become the first female four-time winner in an event at the indoor conference meet. Jeneba Tarmoh and Dominique Duncan give the Aggies impressive sprinting depth. The Aggies’ middle distance runners - Andrea Sutherland in the 600 yards plus Aliese Hyde and Erica Parker in the 800 - also should challenge for medals.

Texas A&M Men
The Aggies have finished third each of the last two years. The A&M 4 x 400 relay snapped a 12-year winning streak by Baylor last season and went on to win the NCAA title. Undefeated this season, the A&M 4x4 has an eight meet indoor winning streak. Tabarie Henry returns as the defending 400-meter champion and leads the Big 12 with a 46.33 while Gerald Phiri was a silver medalist in the 60 and a bronze medalist in the 200 last year. The Aggies depth in the 400 includes silver medalist Demetrius Pinder and Bryan Miller, who was fourth in 2010. Middle distance runners Michael Preble (600 yards) and Joey Roberts (800 meters) are among the nation’s best.

In our performances on Day 1, it does not appear we closed the gap between tu and us.

Rough estimate of final results have the Sips leading at 110 with TT and us around 100. Neb follows at 90 and OU next at 80. However, the final results rarely follow the predictions.

Chambers won the 600y run and has 7th fastest 400m in Big 12.
Dowie – 10th in 400m run
Smith – 4th in 400m run
Cooper – 2nd fastest 400m & 9th fastest 200m in Big 12; finished 6th in 400m run today

Ladies' time in 4x400 set Big 12 meet record.

We are better than Nebraska; we just did not perform as well as we can.

tu sure did flop - again.

Won't have to worry about the cornshuckers anymore.
