I just bought tickets for the meet at A&M in a week and a half. I got seats in Section 12, third row. Is this considered good? I had a chance to get section 7, but I took section 12 instead. Thoughts?

Is there much of a difference?

12 is better IMO. You will see the start for dashes better and better view of field events. 7 is past the dash finish line, so pretty good view of that, and better view of the weights, but generally less interest in following the weights.

ok. Row 3 I think would be good. I have been to the center but never for a meet. Typically with such a small venue and like most track meets, lower i better. Agree?

It depends, i'm very interested in the pole vault, which is on the far side of the midfield, so i sit higher up. If you're just interested in the races then 3rd row is great.

(3rd row won't be BAD for field events either, you'll like your seats unless you like the throwing events)

we like high jump and long jump so those are at the front.
