Let me try this again...

AKA "Texas A&M World Championship Trials"

Case in point of what some have been saying around here: Julia Wilkinson breaks National Record in 50 back, moves to #2 world ranking, and nothing goes up on AA or even the FB page. Auburn, Cal, Stanford, Arizona, Texas, etc. would be all over this already.

Kendar finished 7th in the 200 fly.

Live Results: https://swimming.ca/liveresults/11worldtrials/index.htm

Today, Wilkinson has a shot at qualifying for Worlds as the 3rd seed in the 100 free. Should have no problem making the relay, but will be in a dogfight with Erica Morningstar for an individual slot. Gotta like her chances based on that 100 free. KT is seeded 19th in the 100 free.

Very true that they would be all over it. Let's get that out how amazing she is doing. Because it really is incredible what she is doing

Henry had a fantastic 400IM and topped the field in prelims. Julia should be very close to Poon in the 100 final. Troskot missed the 100 A final by a finger length (finished 12th, but scratched the B final), but is swimming the 50fly A final - ranked 2nd.

There should be a headline somewhere that says "Former Texas A&M NCAA champion swimmer ranked 2nd in the world."

Agblastoff - you're playing my broken record again!

Julia wins the 100 free in 54.93, which is a FINA A-cut! Goin' to the 'ship!

Unfortunately for Troskot, 50 fly is not a qualifier for Shanghai.

Henry 4:05.04 in the 400 IM to win the B-final! That's a FINA A-cut too!

I think you meant to say 4:45 blastoff.
Yeah, Julia had an awesome 100..Poon led at the 50, but JW reeled her in and out-touched her! Paige Miller had a great 50 fly - 2nd in the A final. Having Bultman at the meet is obviously paying off for the girls at this meet. Troskot failed to improve on his prelim time and finished fourth. Hopefully he has more to offer in the 50fr.

Sorry you're right PTK...4:45. Who's swimming today? Didn't get a chance to look at psych sheets yet...if nobody posts in the next 30 minutes I'll look at it when I get to work.

Sarah Henry is 10th in the 200 free, Wilkinson is the top seed (by a lot) in the 100 back, Miller ranked 22nd in 100 back. Melanie Dodds seeded 25th in the 100 fly. (Miller not going for the double this time).

Chernoff has a shot at World's with a 6th seed in the 100 fly, 1.2 back. Not sure she's had that kind of improvement since last summer though, but we'll see what happens there.

Tess Simpson is seeded 6th in 100Back. Good chance for all 3 to A Final again like the 50.
