Always nice to see the top team, come in to town, and show everyone why they are the top team.

Nice job Ags!

I don't think many people realize how significant a sub-43 sec women's 4X100 really is, especially this early in the season. It has only been achieved 35 times in history by college/university women. The Aggies have 13 of those 35, followed by LSU (12), Texas(8), Southern Cal and Florida State (1 each). The Aggies hold the collegiate record, the two fastest times ever, 5 of the top 10 (all below 42.70) and no one else has done it since 2008. To do this at this time in the season, with Porscha gone now and no Gabby Mayo, tells me a lot about the sprint depth of this women's team.

Duncan keeps progressing very nicely. She is running some really strong times in both the 100/200. We need to get Mayo back and will challenge the records.

Was in Austin over weekend and could have sworn I hear the t.v. sports guy say that Texas won the 4 x 400. Glad to see that wasn't true.

Texas...Texas A&M.... same thing I guess....

Texas men did win the 400 in the "we aren't fast enough to run with the big boys event".

Texas Relays have College/University division which Texas won. It also has a special mens race that they put the top mens 4x400 teams and run as the last race of the meet. A&M won that.

A&M's 4x400 in the Price Jr. is still part of the university divison. They didn't run in the invitational race, although they would have won that. Wariner and Williamson ran, but it was really just a hodgepodge of runners for the most part. The Longhors time would have been good for 3rd in that and 7th in the final 1600 relay.

Edit- Good gosh, Barton County (KS) ran a 39.19 in the 4x100 with a bunch of Texas kids. I wouldn't mind poaching one or two of them down here to College Station.

Wow. How lame is that.

We should of ran in both just to spite them.
