I think the Bruins win the cup this year

The Canucks have been the best team from start to finish. Hard to see that changing. Tim Thomas is both the best and worst keeper in the NHL. When he is on he is like a brick wall. When he is off it gets ugly.

I agree wholeheartedly about Thomas. He's had so many sick saves on redirections, fast breaks, breakaways, etc. But then he'll give up 3 weak goals in 73 seconds. It doesn't help that his team consistently forgets how to play defense at key points each period.
The Canucks are just about unstoppable when Luongo is on his game, which seems to be the case after the Chicago series. Still, I can't bring myself to like them. Hopefully Boston wins the East, but if not I'm rooting for Tampa.

When I was in Toronto in March I went to a Maple Leafs v. Bruins game and it got ugly for Thomas. And it got ugly FAST. But that save he made the other night diving with his stick extended was as aweseome a save as I have ever seen. Sure, it was blind luck but still.

not to detract from Thomas, but it looked to me like Downie hit the post, the puck bounced out towards the crease (ergo, not heading for the net) then Thomas hit it and knocked it out of the area

What a gutty series by both teams!
