Excuse if this has been posted but I swear I saw Tabarie give the National Camera the "neck slash" sign after the 1600. Did anyone else see it? That's gets you suspended in the NFL. Not a proper choice Tabarie. Congrats to the teams.

I think it was awesome. He wasn't trying to say he killed anyone. More like "it's all over, we took care of business, why does anyone even bother trying to beat us anymore?"

If our football team had that swagger, which we used to have and are very close to getting back, most people would be loving it.

I saw several guys do that at the finish line, so apparently it has caught on with track athletes.

Yeah, the 1500m (i think) winner did it too... just shows how dumb the rules in football are

This is one that doesn't bother me. They don't mean it literally as to slash your throat, there's no particular group of people who have been persecuted by the motion (ala Kobe Bryant and calling the ref a f*****).

Its a lame thing to do for a winner, but its also a non-issue. Good sportsmanship is a personal thing to some degree. And again, they are 20yr olds, they do all kinda of stupid stuff at this age. Worry about your own failings.

The sign was the sign you give for "stop" or "cut" or "that's it- over!"

In about 4 seconds he gave the number 3 sign and said "three-peat!" "number one" and then "delete" as he crossed his neck.

Oh yeah, you all are right, silly me. Indicating on National TV that Ags beat everyone really soundly by using a throat slashing sign is a sign of maturity and class that all Aggies should strive for. What was I thinking!!!

And ofcourse because others did it, that makes it OK. That's sound reasoning. Oh and yes, I remember when the football team always showed their swagger by using the throat slashing sign (or was it holding Andre Ware's helmet up high or stealing Tim Brown's towel, I forget).

OP Ever been involved in any high level of sports competition? I didn't think so.
You have zero clue the work put in by these guys and girls. I personally loved the gestures by Henry. What these kids have accomplished is UNPRECEDENTED, and it's safe to say no school will EVER match it. Now go to bed.

The OP is a moron!

Its obvious that the OP saw the race, but the only thing that he remarks about is the sign that Tabarie performed after winning the relay race.

Mr. Henry, a Senior, running in his last race at Texas A&M, ran an unbelievable race where we saw his character and heart especially in the last 100 where he was struggling and runners were gunning for him.

Back-to-Back-to-Back National Championships, Mr. Henry can do whatever he wants and I can assure you he meant no disrespect to anyone but it was obvious that he was letting his emotions show.

This man has every right to be cocky after doing what he has done in his career. For once, A&M is dominant in a sport and all you want to do is call attention to his one gesture?
