Joffe has already scored some points in my book by keeping around one of the all time greats. I hope they do well together. Gig'em!

Looking forward to next season. Weaver has really been seeming to improve as a coach and I think he will continue to get better under Joffe. I really hope those two will get the job done. Keeping Mark around can really help keep some of the old ties of A&M together in so many ways.

I am pumped for the future of this program! Good hire by Byrne to get Joffe and very smart move to keep Weaver. I think Joffe will be able to use Weaver's talents much more than Kleinecke ever did. Might take a few years, but we will no doubt be better down the road. Can't wait to see it!

I am very happy with this news! Mark obviously knows a thing or two about tennis, but more importantly he is one of the nicest and classiest people you will ever meet. Speaking as a father of two daughters, I would send both of them to play for Mark simply because he is the kind of role model you would want for your kids. I am so excited for him and for the team! Good luck to Mark and Coach Joffe!

Good news for Weaver! Good news for the program too.

If Joffe does pull a Turgeon move West in four or five years, as some have speculated might be his plan, Weaver will be pretty close to a slam dunk for HC at that point, which would be an ideal situation.

I echo the comments on Mark being a top coach for this program. He is the total package of playing experience, personality, and teaching ability. Through private lessons, he helped my son be one of the top 100 juniors in the state. To say the least, I am excited that he is staying!

On top of all the good posts for Mark's favor (me included) the girls LOVE this guy. So much so I believe they'd die trying to make him happy. Good job Mark, see you on the courts.

My family and I went to visit the Texas Sports Hall of Fame earlier this week for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised that Mark was basically the "poster boy" representing Texas A&M as a former player. We all knew that Mark was really good, but didn't realize that he was that good. The SWC theme room was very neat overall as well as the Hall of Fame room with Denton and Mckinley. I suggest to all who are sports fans to go and visit the museum even though it is in Waco. VERY COOL!

Lived in the dorm two doors down from Weaver back when Cain Hall was an athletic dorm. He stood out as a class act even back then. Wonderful decision to keep him on board.
