The Texas A&M Men's Lacrosse team travels to Waco on Saturday for a 1:00 start against the Bears.

On Sunday, the team opens up at home with a 12:00 start against Trinity University out of San Antonio. All home games will be played at the Penburthy Intermural complex next to Mt. Aggie and the driving range. Bring couches, chairs, or whatever you like and watch some exciting lacrosse.

Lacrosse has a kick-off? I thought they just used sticks to bash each other about the head and shoulders!

Shouldn't it be called a toss off?

Actually it should be called a Face Off. That is how the game is started, with two players facing off in the middle of the field for control of the ball, much like in Hockey.

Sorry for the late reply but I don't check this board that often. Funny you should mention it but I just started playing again (for San Antonio) last summer. It is great to be out there again. By the way, we travel to Houston this weekend. Who are you playing for? I imagine we will meet sometime this season. Good luck to you guys and stay away from the injuries.

I'm with Coppell Cobras (formerly Coppell White). Were you with SA when we came down there last summer to play y'all and Austin? Back-to-back games in August in San Antonio -- I'm too old for that again.

Yeah Gunner I was there and it was DAMN hot! I was also there in Coppell in September. I imagine we will be getting together again sometime in the next few months. Although, my travel schedule might be greatly curtailed this year as my wife and I are expecting our first child in September. Do you know your schedule yet?

What position are you?

I play middie and some attack but only when we are short a man or when one of the attackmen get tired. It's sad but I am in much better shape now (at 32) then when I was in my 20's. Of course, I've lost about 15-20lbs since then, rarely drink anymore, and my training is much more intellgent and focused.

From your schedule, it looks like I will be seeing you in March. I can't wait for the season to begin so I can run off the holiday excess.
