Anyone have the results of the Tennis match today, 2-l, in Austin for the Texas Cup??

just when you thought t.u. tennis couldn't POSSIBLY hook ANY more... pretty pathetic by gubser and zarhi(yes, again), and this time coach center too. even the old horns i talked to afterwards said it was crap. and i would LOVE to see rocket horn come over and give his commentary on the match...i need a laugh.

that said, the guys played hard, we just need some experience for our 6 underclassmen on the squad. i'm not worried...by conference we will see a huge difference.

It was a fans kind of match..lots of back and forth...For the most part well played. Texas played better than ATM. Hence forth the 4-2. No smack necessary when you have scoreboard. We will be in bcs in a couple of months for the rematch. It will be fun.

weak, as expected. you can talk scoreboard when you can get it by playing proper and respectful tennis. looking forward to the rematch indeed.

I used to dislike texas but after saturday i have no respect fpr them, gubser proved that he is still a cheater, haney a bigger one, and i cant wait till they come to town and i will have the warmest reception for them. A&M is the better team

gentlemen whatever do you mean...the better team is the one who wins. It means that on that day the team that won was better. as for roger and jimmy they are considerd two of the fairest guys in college tennis. However if it makes you feel better then have at it. cooks call on the sideline in the tiebreaker was clearly a poor call however calls rarely decide a team match. How you play does. Texas won cause they played better. Hold your hopes for next time...but this time the Horns were the better team.

i disagree, but fine, say that was a poor call. how about zarhi crying after AT LEAST two points in EVERY SINGLE game in the first set? how about the blatantly incorrect fault call on a first serve that zarhi couldn't handle when cook was up 30-15, 5-3 in the first? zarhi had just gotten overruled on 2 of the previous 3 calls, so he decided to hook on purpose because he knew the spineless chair wouldn't possibly overrule him 3 times in 3 minutes in austin. as soon as he called the fault he turned around and smiled at us an winked. claaaaaassy.

arguing with an ass-kissing, excuse-making, gravy-training simp like rocket is worthless, so we'll just leave it at this. you just better hope your guys improve more than ours do, because when we play in college station, it will be ugly.

excuse making?...gravy training? I am not sure what you mean but you sure must mean something. Whatever, good or bad calls never make the difference in whether a team wins or loses...it is how you play. all the things you cited might have happened or might not have but they didnt decide the match. Texas won because they won the doubles point and at three other spots. The cook and zahri match was suspended when the match was decided. Generally excuses made about line calls always follow from the losing team. It is common. atm has a good team as always and i am sure they will be much improved by the time we journey to bcs. until then i would suggest just find a way to live with it...its in the past.

I feel sorry for anybody that has to play that idiot from Chile Zarhi..This guy knows nothing about sportsmanship, the only way he stays in matches is by acting like a two year old..Hey 731 don't worry we will win when it counts. They can have some plastic trophy, they can put it right next to their RNC's. Texass will lose when they come to CS just like they did in the Big 12 tourney..Trust me Haney is not known as one of the fairest guys in tennis I used to watch him at TCU far from it. 5...4...3...2.... Only one second left until Coach Center comes on here and defends his team.....hahahahhaha
