7s Championships -- A fantastic opportunity to see great rugby will be right here in Texas for players, coaches and fans when Texas A&M hosts the first-ever USA Collegiate 7s Championships, December 16-17 (yep, a Friday-Saturday).
The 24 teams competing either won qualifying tournaments, or had records at multiple events sufficient to earn at-large bids. This is simply too good a chance to expose our teams to excellent rugby to pass up. We encourage as many of you as possible to attend the event, as being able to host a national championship at any level -- let alone one with 24 big-name colleges --  is a rare occurrence. The matches will be played at the Pemberthy Sports Complex on the west end of the campus.
Keep in mind that with Rugby 7s making its debut in the Olympics in just over four years, there is a good chance you could be watching Olympians in the making!

Amazingly, I posted this a couple of weeks ago! The team that I coach got a bid, so I'll see you there! If you see the Air Force Academy team, stop by and say Howdy!

We got put in a nasty pool (Arkansas State, Central Washington) so I hope we play into the day on Sat! If you're around Friday, we play at 10:00, 12:40, and 4:00. Not sure what game times are on Sat.
