Well that's much better.

It was ridiculous that the guys not be ranked. Nothing like a solid road win over #18 to fix things. Hope they keeping bringing it.

I was a little surprised to see just how high the girls jumped. I think the voters are taking big stock in Cammile's performance in Austin. While #6 (and ahead of Arizona, Stanford and USC) is flattering, I think we are a better fit at the #8-9 spot. Very glad to have jumped Indiana and Missouri however. There is no way either of those teams are better than we are.

LOB - I agree. I can only believe the voters were blown away by our strong swims in Austin (Aggies were in lots of finals). I think #6 is a bit high. They might be looking at diving too - we are very strong here.

The men are finally getting some recognition.

We'd make a run at 6 with Sarah and Lili. Sans those two, not going to happen. Diving will definitely help. Texas' top diver is out for the year, which will help make up the gap from the sprint freestyles at Big 12's. Note that we moved ahead ahead of USC, despite them beating Arizona pretty badly (and having been ranked #3 in the previous poll).

#6 is probably about right when you look at the poll's self-mandate - performance just since the last poll (not before, not after). Outside of that context, though, not.
