My prediction: We'll go into the Big XII tournament 12-9 and ranked 35-40. Same as usual. Make the tournament, maybe win a round depending on the matchup.

Looks like Joffe signed a huge recruit for August and hopefully he will get a another...we lose nothing and our top 3 will be seniors. If we can get some talented freshmen down low 2013 could be a banner year.

Does anyone have an idea of where Dane will be in the lineup once healthy? if she can compete at 4 that could help a lot

the record might not show it this year but there looks to be a big talent upgrade over prior years and with similar recruiting next year we could have a top 10-20 team. future looks much brighter for women's tennis.

Don't think the team will do well at all this year, but sounds like we have some stellar recruits coming in next year. This will be an average year at best. I think the future looks bright for the upcoming years though. We are still dealing with Santacroce, Olivier and Cuthbertson unfortunately.

Future definitely looks bright for the women just not going to be so bright this year. We have two good coaches and some good talent coming in so there is no reason that we won't be a very good program in the near future. I am excited to see what Joffe and Weaver can do together. I know that the girls are very happy with the way things are going and that they really work well with the new guy Joffe.

Thank you HJ for noticing that Santa came through this past weekend. If she can get up on an opponent and stay focused (that's the big IF) she's a monster at 5 or 6. Doubles I would hope will flesh out before the Rice match. Anyway, I'm like most on here. Muddle through 2012 and hope and wait for next year and beyond. Janelle can't buy a good break, and like HJ pointed out earlier Dane had her troubles in the Fall. But who knows new team, new chemistry see what gels.
