The South Eastern Conference is not wasting any time to take advantage of the first-class facilities from their newest members: Texas A&M (and hopefully Missouri). Reports are circulating that A&M has been selected to host the 2013 version of the SEC Championship meet, their first as a member of the conference. 2013 was set to be A&M’s turn in the Big 12 Championship rotation as well.

Can't wait. See ya Big 12.

Will men's and women's conference meets be combined? That'll be one crowded pool deck.

I'm sure it will be. If we can host NCAA's we can host a conference meet. We've got a lot more deck space than most folks.

Also, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, the number of people allowed to compete at SEC's is less than Big 12's i.e. no A and B teams -- just A's

I believe that there are no B teams allowed.

SEC doesn't do 'B' teams just because it would take forever to run the meet.

On the women's side, only Ole Miss and Miss. St. don't have S&D team. Adding A&M and Mizzou next year will mean there will be 12 teams participating in the SEC championship.

On the men's side, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miss. St. and Vandy don't have programs. There will be 10 teams on the men's side starting next year.
