Is there any possible explanation? Was he injured in doubles? Or did a Tim Cass blunder cost us a conference match? I hope it wasn't a simple coaching decision because there is no excuse to not go with your best in a confeence road match.

If he is hurt I understand. Just tough luck. If not, Coach Cass made a mistake that really hurts our season. OSU was #68 prior to this match.

A very bad loss. It will be next to impossible to win the regular season championship now. We'
ll have to wait for the explanation. Players are limited to the number matches they can play in a season and maybe this was a match Coach Cass felt he could sit Ryan out so he could stay under his limit.

Ryan sat out due to illness. Sometimes luck is just against you. If we win out we can still win the Big 12, but no matter what this definately hurts our NCAA seeding.

I have been told that Ryan woke up this morning feeling ill. He was going to play doubles and it was then going to be a decision whether he could go in singles or not. What this really points out is our lack of depth. This should not have happened, but strange things happen on the road. I have not studied the individual match ups, but suffice it to say somebody did not step up.

How good was Fenner supposed to be?

that is very surprising. with the lack of depth, newp still could've played one and lost but at least the rest of the lieup remains in tact. fenner was supposed to be a lot better.

Even being sick, he should have played. Take your lumps so that everyone can play in their normal spot. TEAM.
I'm sure ryan wanted to give it a shot, but was proly talked out of it. You would think they could still split the singles even w/o him. Gonna be damn tough to beat tu and baylor.

It is apparent that winning means more to many of you than the health and well being of the players.

40luv is in the wrong club. She should be on the debate team w/ that long winded speech.

40luv speach was very long, but as a college coach, you are not allowed to switch your lineup for matchup purposes after doubles. you exchange lineups before the match, and in the case of injury you can pull someone out and insert someone but neither team can redo their lineup. and besides the osu coach is too lazy to switch his lineup for matchup purposes.
