I'd love to see her run it. I still think she's faster than Felix in the 100M. That been said though, she was responsible for the US team not making the hand-off in the tune-up meet in Monaco.

She screwed their precious TV ratings stunt called a "runoff", so now they're extracting their revenge. Unfortunate, but not the first time something like this has happened at the Olympics.

What keeps Felix from running Jeneba Tarmoh off the track is her reaction time and first few steps. Put Felix anywhere except the first leg and her slow reaction time isn't nearly as consequential. Put Felix on the 3rd leg and she has the superior turn.

In the final, its really not about Felix vs. Tarmoh, its probably Bianca Knight vs. Tarmoh for the 4th spot. They won the 2011 World Championship with Bianca Knight.

For the prelims, they don't need their fastest runners on the track to make it through. They do need to run a fundamentally strong race and get the handoffs right. That's where the veteran and two time World Champion Lauryn Williams comes in.

Its tough, but it would make tactical sense.

And they ran FAST! 41.64

They did run fast. London2012 didn't post splits, though?

It looks like Jamaica didn't run Fraser-Price or Campbell-Brown. Should be a good final.

They had the best handoffs in almost 10 years. For real!!

US shattered the world record with a 40.82. I think the coaches knew what they were doing.

I hope she can move on and get her mind right. Playing mental games only makes life harder for a sprinter.

Just go run, she is too good of a runner for her to not realize her dreams if she just stays strong and sticks with it.
