When the players strike the ball or make a sharp cut, it looks like there's water splashing up from the blue-colored field. Can anybody explain this? Thanks!

They played on a water based turf. Dow Chemical developed it, and they water it.

They douse the field with water before every match because it helps the ball stick to the turf better. Less bouncing, more rolling.

Anyone else think those sticks need to be about 18" longer, hurt my back just watching those teams try to run down that big field with that youth-sized Putt-putt putter.
