I just posted this tread for the Soccer Team, and I wanted to do the same for the Equestrian and Volleyball teams....I'm hoping that either one of the ladies on the team sees this, or someone tells them about it.......I'll paste what I put for the Soccer Team, because the wording would basically be the same here:
"Even though lots of people (like me) are primarily focused on football, TexAgs has brought a lot of focus to TAMU Soccer for me and many of my peers. I played in the College Station Soccer Club for years growing up as a kid, and watching/listening/watching stats at every game, and I've mostly been a football guy since my first game at Kyle in 1975. You girls are doing a great job, I support all of you, and even though you're not getting the "pub" of football, you're getting more and more supporters, like me, every damn day you play your asses off for our beloved Maroon and White.
Times are a-changing, and you ladies are a very important part of it. Gig 'Em, I'm watching closely all the way from Sherman Oaks, CA, and I'm rooting for you to Beat The Hell Outta The SEC.
Gig 'Em.
- Bill Kemp"
I want non-football athletes to know that we see you on TV out here in California, and I'm catching everything I can on the 'net.....don't feel like you're non appreciated, because I'm the biggest football fan I know, and I am watching as many of the other sports now as I can through the 'net, and getting more informed because of TexAgs, even though I'm a long way from home.
It's crazy that Equestrian isn't getting more pub, and I'm going to start wearing my "Texas Aggies - SEC" shirts at LA Fitness when I go in for my 5 AM workouts to help spread the word about our beloved university....girls, effin' Gig 'Em, and BTHO SEC! You're a part of a very important part of making all sports at A&M super-high-calibre.......even guys like me get it's not all about football, and we're watching.
Farmer Fight! (And check out my T-Star at the end of this post)
