It's that time of year again, Aggies CAN is approaching, the largest student athlete run canned food drive in the nation held right here in Aggieland by your Aggie Athletes. With last year’s success of over $24,000 and over 4,000 pounds of can goods, our contributions help the Brazos Valley Food Bank get through their toughest times. We are raising the bar this year, we believe that as a community we can raise $50,000 and 10,000 pounds of cans to support not only the Brazos Valley Food Bank but a new on-campus food bank that will serve as an additional source of support for the common mission of eradicating hunger in the Brazos Valley. Look for us in our lime green on October 19th at the Soccer and Volleyball games as well as Midnight Yell, then on October 20th @ Kyle Field when we BTHO LSU.
We will be collecting monetary and canned food donations. In an effort to make more of an impact, Whataburger is the proud sponsor of this year’s Aggies CAN.
Bring a can and get in free to the Soccer and Volleyball games.
The first 20,000 to give a monetary donation of a dollar or more (two cans are equivalent to a dollar) will receive a free Whataburger coupon at the football game on Oct. 20th.
