The January issue of Track and Field News (the self proclaimed "Bible of the sport")is now out and they have great things to say about the Ags in '13. They have both the men and women winning their 4th outdoor national titles in the last 5 years. They have the men winning with 64, Florida at 45, and Arkansas and Oregon tie at 40.
They project 3 individual wins for the men: Ameer Webb-200, Henry Lelei- steeplechase, and Wayne Davis-high hurdles. Interestingly enough, they do not project Sam Humphreys to repeat as javelin winner, but rather they see Tim Glover of Illinois State grabbing the gold.
Overall they rank the Aggie men's recruiting class as 4th best in the nation.

On the women's side A&m scores 63, Oregon 59 and LSU at 55.
Projected winners are Natosha Rogers-10k, 4X100 relay and Shelbi Vaughan-discus.
The women's recruiting was ranked number 1!!!!
There are no projections for the indoor season.

Pat Henry quietly has become the Aggies' most successful coach in any sport. And he does that without a suitable outdoor track facility to host meets on campus. Just remarkable --

Aldrich Bailey, who was 12th in the World in the 400 meters as a Senior in H.S. & made it to the Olympic Trial finals (if I'm not mistaken), is a Fish on the Aggie Track team!
