Whoooop! Ags beat Chico State 14-12 and advance to the quarterfinals to face #2 Colorado State (15-2). Simon Fraser pulled the only upset of the day, sending Colorado to the losers bracket.

The sport of lacrosse is taking off in the state of Texas and it is so good to see the ATM having THE top program in the state. Props to all current studs and props to Tony "the godfather"...

What possibilities of getting both men's and women's field hockey (I think that's the term of the NCAA sanctioned sport -- if so, what's the difference?) both here as varsity sports? They would be a Title 9 wash and would be relatively inexpensive. They'd simply have to play on the soccer field, if its big enough.
