Is the SEC just tougher, or have we been outrecruited? I try to keep up with the team, and it's unusual to see them have the losses they have this year.

I understand the SEC is tough. But they just lost to Okie Lite.

Can't seem to find the current poll, but in the preseason poll we were ranked tied for 3rd with Georiga. Auburn and USC were ahead of us. OSU was one place behind us at 5. So our 4 losses are to the #1, #2, #3, and #5 preseason teams.

We have just played all of the best teams.

So far today, at the Equitation Challenge, Aggie riders have lost o UGA, Baylor, and FAU. I too wonder what's going on with a program I've long followed and supported.

I misread the Twitter feed. Emily lost to USC and goes to the consolation bracket. My bad...

I'm at the ranch in west Texas so Internet is spotty. Can you tell me what/where this challenge is ?

It's in Palm Beach and is, from what I gather, a huge invitational meet lasting 12 weeks. Classes go from Olympic to youth. So I guess just for some of our girls to be invited is an honor. Just hated to see us on the losing side of the bracket. Where is west Texas? I'm in the panhandle.

I think yall are being too tough. We won the overall championship last year. You can't win it every year. If we were having a bunch of bad losses, then I could see the cause for concern. But, everyone that has beat us has been pretty stout.

Here is the most updated poll:

1. Georgia (89)
2. Auburn (85)
3. Oklahoma State (83)
4. South Carolina (77)
5. Kansas State (52)
T-6. Baylor (48)
T-6. Texas A&M (48)
8. Texas Christian (33)
9. South Dakota State (12)
10. Southern Methodist (9)

So we are tied for 6th with our only losses coming to the top 4 teams.

Get used to having more losses in the SEC. Georgia has 5 overall NCs, South Carolina, Auburn, and us have 2. Nobody else has won the overall NC in Equestrian. That is how tough the SEC is. Playing Georgia, USC and Auburn twice every year is going to end with more looses.

Finally, don't forget that last year's national championship team lost twice to Baylor, twice to OSU, and once to KSU.

Not to mention, one year isn't a trend.

I think you are worring about this way to soon.

Team took the express route from the penthouse to the outhouse. Very disappointing so far.

Does it really matter?

^Yes it does matter, because the level of competition is THE deciding factor in how well a team does. When you go from a decent conference like the big12-2-2+2, into THE equestrian conference of the SEC, that makes a huge influence on how your team does. AKA, cut them some slack.
